Safety Certificates - QLD
Excellence in Automotive in Bowen is an Approved Inspection Station (AIS) and can issue Safety Certificates (formerly Roadworthy Certificates RWC) for vehicles that pass vehicle inspections.
This inspection covers the basic vehicle safety standards for many components including:
- Tyres
- Brakes
- Suspension
- Steering
- Body damage or Rust
- Lights
- Windscreen
In Queensland, a safety certificate is required under the following circumstances:
- When transferring a vehicle's registration to a new owner,
- When changing a vehicle's registration from another state or territory to Queensland,
- Or when re-registering a vehicle that is currently unregistered.
